Unreal and Unreal Tournament 99/2004¶
Unreal, Unreal Tournament 99, and Unreal Tournament 2004 were first-person shooter games developed by Epic Games and Digital Extremes. Epic is too busy making money hand-over-fist with Fornite, so they haven't touched anything Unreal in forever. Thankfully, they've given the okay to OldUnreal to both host files and make patches for their older titles (UT99, UT2004, Unreal). I'm not sure what specific license is being used for this, but the game/publisher is okay with it.
Installing OldUnreal¶
From OldUnreal:
We currently host installers that download the original disc image for Unreal Tournament 1999 GOTY from our own file servers (with archive.org used only as a fallback). The installers then extract the disc contents into a folder of your choice, install the game, and automatically patch it to the latest OldUnreal version. Enjoy!
